- Trametes Versicolor in Breast Cancer Patients
This is the very first U.S. trial to explore the benefits of popular herbal medicine. Data from this new breast cancer research study will help evaluate its safety and effectiveness in treating post-radiation fatigue and immune deficiency in women with early breast cancer.
- Pilot Study – The Effects of Omega-3 Fatty Acids on Intermediate Markers of Breast Cancer
This promising pilot study focuses on effective dietary habits that can help prevent breast cancer. Commonly found in cold water fish, omega-3 fatty acids could be a welcome non-toxic alternative for breast cancer prevention.
- Prayer as a Possible Adjuvant Treatment for Cancer Patients
This recently funded study will investigate specific biomarkers to help determine if consistent prayer can help cure cancer. While prayer has always been believed to prove effective in fighting all forms of disease, this study will try to provide proven, quantifiable scientific data.
- Targeted Killing of Breast Cancer Cells
This innovative strategy relies on a gene that induces "cell suicide" in breast cancer cells only, eliminating harmful killing of normal healthy cells in the patient's body.
