While cancer deaths have decreased in recent years, cancer is far from a chronic illness. Too many people are losing the fight - and their life.

Our hope lies in innovation, determination, and immediate impact. Gateway for Cancer Research funds the type of research that leverages lessons learned in the laboratory and theories generated from patient care - the type of early phase clinical cancer research that focuses on the safety and effectiveness of a new application, often for the first time in a clinical setting. Gateway bridges the gap between theory and application.

Without these early phase clinical studies, there would be no new treatments. No breakthroughs. No cure.
